Why join a masterclass
Need help with a specific topic, skill or exam technique? Want to make a big difference to your confidence and marks in a short space of time? I'd love to help.
I started my masterclasses to make high-quality support accessible to more students.
These interactive Zoom webinars offer a more affordable, flexible and low-pressure alternative (or addition) to tuition, without compromising on quality. Many students actually prefer them!
How it works
Each masterclass is different depending on the topic or focus, so the structure will vary.
My approach is built around showing you exactly what examiners are looking for, with clear, visual explanations and memory tricks that make everything easier to understand, remember, and apply.
You can join live and ask questions throughout via the chat, and/or watch the recording later in your own time. Your camera and mic won’t be on, so you can focus on your learning and take part without any added pressure.
Frequently asked questions

Why I do this
There’s nothing I enjoy more than seeing a student go from feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to start, and unmotivated… to feeling capable, confident, and actually enjoying biology.
Most students come to me wanting to improve their grades. And they do. But for me, it’s also about that shift in how they feel. Feeling more in control, clear on what they're doing and not dreading revision in the same way.
I’m just as proud of the students who achieve A*s as I am of those who get the pass they were working towards.
Could this be you next?
The kindness of the students who attend my classes never fails to amaze me and I am so grateful that I’ve received hundreds of messages on how they’ve helped. Below is just a selection of some of my favourites!

Feeling daunted by the 25 mark essay? Join live or watch the recordings of my essay planning masterclasses!
In these sessions we created create in-depth plans for a variety of essays, focusing on selecting relevant topics and linking to the question (‘the importance of’). Please note we will NOT be covering wider reading.
The essay titles that we’ll use are NOT predictions in any way. I’ve chosen them to help you practise a wide range of topics and skills. The aim is to equip you with the skills and strategies you need to be able to adapt to whatever the examiners throw at you.
You can contribute and get feedback on your ideas and get your questions answered throughout.
